Why we started.
Kickstart Family Hub was built slowly, from years of listening — to children, to parents, and to what a small town in Wexford was quietly asking for.
A career built around small moments.
Wynette spent years working in early years education and therapeutic play. She watched hundreds of children — bright, curious, and different in the best of ways — light up when a parent stepped closer instead of stepping back.
Zoe came from a background in child development, always drawn to the quiet in-between moments where real growth actually happens.
"What if children and parents could learn these skills together — in the same room, at the same time?"
A hub, not a class.
The word "class" felt too small for what they had in mind. Kickstart Family Hub is a place — one you walk into, sit down in, and slowly begin to feel at home in.
No clipboards. No assessments at the door. Just cushions on the floor, warm tea for parents, and the slow work of connection.

Where we go from here.
Kickstart is only just beginning. Small groups, careful pacing, and a promise: every family who walks through our door is met exactly where they are.
